The Centre for Turf Innovation (CTI) is the global R&D hub of TenCate Grass, a place where technology, testing, and top-level sport come together to drive the future of synthetic turf.

At CTI, engineers, scientists, and performance experts work across disciplines to design turf systems that feel more natural, last longer, and are better for the environment. The innovation process goes far beyond the lab: biomechanics, movement science, and biomimicry are combined with real-life validation from professional athletes, ensuring every system performs under real match conditions not just in theory.

The result is a deeper understanding of player-surface interaction, leading to smarter, safer, and more sustainable designs.
